Case Management

The ultimate aim of case management is for young people to be successfully re-engaged on a learning to earning pathway.

The key to success is recognising the complexity of needs each individual young person is facing and respectfully addressing these needs through an individual case management approach, supported through partnerships with a range of local agencies, both government and non-government.

It is unlikely that all FLO students will require exactly the same level of support. MCLC has a holistic approach to each student with the Case Manager being a significant support to assist the student with social, emotional, physical and practical aspects of their journey to positive learning and engagement.

This individualised service supports students to actively and purposely address the social and emotional issues that act as barriers to their engagement in a meaningful learning and earning pathway.
